Who’s behind Bible Conversations: Teesside?

Bible Conversations: Teesside is a joint initiative between UK-based charity Bible Society and churches in Teesside, connected through the Transforming-Teesside-Together movement.

Bible Society was founded in 1804. Since then, it’s worked to translate and share the Bible all around the world.

Today, Bible Society invites people to explore the Bible in fresh, honest and relevant ways – creating space for you to discover how this source of ancient wisdom can speak into your spiritual search today.

Why does Bible Conversations: Teesside exist?

More and more people are interested in finding out more about spirituality, belief and the Bible.

But reading the Bible isn’t without its challenges. The language is tricky to get your head around. And some of it feels really outdated, right?

And yet, it’s also stood the test of time – with billions of people around the world continuing to read it, learn from it and get inspired by it.

So, maybe it has something to offer you today – a message of hope, a word of encouragement or a story that helps you understand why you’re here.
